Its really quite odd (and ridiculous) what actually gets press in Architecture, seriously. I am starting to see a trend with the press reporting on these hideous concepts and actual projects going up (or floating) in Dubai. For example, this latest project was posted on Gizmodo, but originally on NPR. I mean, yeah the floating idea is pretty cool, but did everyone overlook that god awful and slightly perverted (saggy nuts) building concept? Maybe we should start also reporting Graphic Design that uses inner bevels and comic sans? I am all for progression, new ideas, but damn make it look good, yeah?

Gregory Euclide is a Minneapolis artist that has been getting world-wide attention in the arts. With countless shows coming up and past exhibits in the Kinsey/Desforges Gallery, Gregory is for sure an artist to keep an eye on. This Saturday is the first of a quarterly event held in Minneapolis, called Connoisseur. It will feature a mixture of music, video and fashion/art. YouWorkForThem will be premiering a new video during the event. Connoisseur will be held at the stunning historic Suburban World Theater. Check the site for a mix and see you there!

Shilo has a new mix up by Pretty Titty called We Make It Good V1. Has a lot of nice tracks on it if you are into the BMORE/Balle styled beats. Has that much talked about Blaqstarr with Rye Rye on it. Check it out as well as some new videos by them, nice stuff!
