Dwell Magazine has a video section, featuring random designers etc. Check it out, enjoy. Also, Jay from Magers and Quinn wrote and said that Chip Kidd will be speaking in Minneapolis at the Minneapolis Central Library on February 27th at 7pm. wk.jpgIn New York City, a canvas WK has made his own for over 15 years, ‘The Trail’ is an unswerving invitation to join this impacted state of crash. With a motor accident and a broken figure, the resulting story begins. Executed as invasive gifts to the cities he dwells in, WK Interact’s cumulative body of work ranges from large scale tracings of movement visible to all from the street, to detailed contraptions and tools illustrating a vision of power- frozen and hauntingly rendered immobile. WK is a method of elegant provocation, marked by both the charm and the gracelessness of the New York City landscape. ‘The Trail’, is the shadow of WK, set for you to follow. Opening Reception: Friday November 30th, 7 pm (TONIGHT) Exhibition runs until January 13th 2008. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Espeis Archetype Gallery 90 Wythe Avenue Williamsburg, Brooklyn. nyc 11211. tel: 718.388.4049 subway: L train to Bedford ave. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Based in Hong Kong, the annual Microwave International New Media Arts Festival is a pioneering festival of its kind, both in Asia and internationally. Each year we strive to bring the latest marriages of art and technology to Hong Kong that would inspire both artists and public. The theme of this year’s 11th anniversary festival is “LUMINOUS ECHO” - an attempt to display works of public interest that explore the relationship between sound and light, with an emphasis to break down the barrier between man and machine, and heighten the interactivity between people and electronic media art. The Festival will run from 10 - 18 November 2007.
