What an amazing set of illustrations and drawings at the ‘In The Year 2000‘ photoset on Flickr. Not to be missed, browse this nice collection and check some of the credits and history behind some of these illustrations. Very Inspiring and these will always leave you with what a let down of what didn’t happen, hah.

It’s all bigger, hairier and sexier than anything us kids are doing these days. Thanks to Tom Crabtree for the collection.

Oh yes, The monstrous Library of Congress has entered the Flickr realm, better late than never my friends. Maybe your asking, but just what is the LOC? From the source itself, “We serve as the national library for the United States, based in Washington, DC. With more than 134 million items preserved on some 530 miles of bookshelves, we’re also the world’s largest library. In addition to books, we have photos, maps, databases, movies, sound recordings, sheet music, manuscripts, and information in many other formats. Millions of items are online, and the full array of collections is available in DC, right across from the U.S. Capitol building.”

If there is a god, her name is flickr. Here’s our latest find of vintage goodies to plow through. Thanks to the French Pita ou Franck for the collection.
