I keep seeing these designs make their way around all the image bookmarking sites, so I figure its time to post the source as well. This post shows numerous designs of municipal logos for towns in Japan. Very interesting and clean work, I could live with almost any of these as my town logo.
As was twittered last week, we got in a few new IDEA Magazines and they are (per usual from IDEA) all amazing. Page by page of the kind of stuff you’ll drool over, shake your head, and say “WOOOOOOOOOWW.” I mean, Emil Ruder? Herb Lubalin? C’mon! Go pick them up.
Was browsing around during a render today, came across this nice little gold nugget called DRILLPOP. Its full of some interesting old japanese and thai movie poster nostalgia. Enjoy!
DOTMOV is a digital film festival organized by an online magazine “SHIFT”, aiming to discover unknown talented creators and provide an opportunity to show their works. We had a total of 289 works from 37 countries this year, and excellent 23 works among them were selected by guest judges. All the selected works are also exposed on the website. This year’s festival will take place in several cities in Japan and oversea during the whole month of November, 2008. If your Japan, Hong Kong or Brasil you will for sure want to catch this one.
It brings me great sadness today to notify our readers that Nagi Noda has passed away. She was only 35 but had already become one of the worlds most creative. I wish all her family and friends our wishes and we will always remember her amazing talent.
