YouWorkForThem was founded and has been directed for the past eight years by Michael Paul Young & Michael Cina. In the final quarter of 2009, Michael Paul Young was elected the new President/Creative Director and Michael Cina stepped down to focus on his own personal ventures.
Resulting from the new leadership, there will be several changes forthcoming. Rest assured that YWFT will remain the same great design shop it has been since day one, and will continue to develop exclusive products in house and create custom work for clients on a select basis. Additionally, however, Mr. Young will also expand and improve several segments of the company. Already in the two months since he assumed control, Mr. Young has overseen a re-design of this website, added almost one hundred new font and stock products to the store, created the Book Archive, added new Font/Stock Art Licensing options and engaged in a new collaboration/partnership with Need Supply Co.

First Amendment Arts presents “Ways of Seeing” an exhibition of over 100 paintings and drawings by Michael Cina. Cina is best known for his work in the field of graphic design, but in April 2009 he returned to a more organic artform: painting. In three months time, Cina has produced a startling number of drawings and paintings on paper and canvas. People that are familiar with his design work may recognize a correlation, but the works featured in Ways of Seeing are more vibrant and abstract as a whole. Inspired in part by Rauschenberg, Rothko and Twombly, Cina’s work creates a vivid, landscape atmosphere.
Back in February we got a nice call from Catherine Owens, long time super creative director for the uber-famous band U2. Catherine came across our video This is Agostina and knew she found the team who could help rock some video/visuals for this years U2 360 world tour. For the past few months we went to New York for meetings, came back to the Bangkok studio and have been rocking on over 200 video clips for the upcoming show. The concert opens in Barcelona on June 30, 2009 to a sold out crowd of 90,000 fans. For complete tour details you can visit the U2 Tour schedule. As we come to wrap on this project, we are really excited/anxious to show everyone the video we contributed to the project. As soon as the tour gets rolling we will release more details (permitting all NDA rules of course). Till then, just go check out the show, I am sure U2 will give you one hell of a show!

Just got back some pictures from YWFT6 Party from Digital Crush. A huge thanks to everyone that came out. The party went over really well even though it was cold as anything and snowing out. Thanks to Kate for making it happen!
