Hugo is a hand set vector font with sharp, abstract characters. There is a sketch quality to the composition of each letter which is very telling of how it is best used; loose and unconventionally. Hugo's characters are first shapes on a plane, then letters. This allows for wild combinations and layouts. Hugo is inspired by high fashion, Dutch poster design, and abstract painting. Hugo comes in 5 weights, each divided out into separate EPS files: Thin, Light, Regular, Bold, Black.

This product is a vector EPS. "Handset Type" refers to the historic practice of typographers setting type by hand, placing one letter at a time. These are not installable system fonts. We suggest using vector editing software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or CorelDRAW.
