Vintage Voyage Design Supply is a studio that’s focused largely on vintage-inspired designs. Established by Pavel Korzhenko, Vintage Voyage Design Supply presents work that viewers can’t help but feel drawn to, even if they’re not quite sure why. With a background in graphic design and illustration, Pavel tends to use design elements from bygone eras. The nostalgia created by his work leaves people with a heavy dose of the “warm fuzzies.”
It’s true, perhaps now more than ever before, that nostalgia really sells. It can be seen just about everywhere you look, from magazine spreads to advertising, and from apparel to product packaging. We love the things that feel the most familiar to us, and that’s why Vintage Voyage Design Supply is onto something good.
One of the studio’s more recent releases is The Voyage Culture, a font duo that offers both a script and sans serif.
The Voyage Culture Sans is a bold uppercase letterset that features two distinct sets of letters for stylistic variety. For instance, the apex of the “A” is sharp and keenly angled in one variation, while it is a graceful arch in the other. There are a number of subtle differences throughout the rest of the letters, giving designers a little bit more flexibility in their work.
The Voyage Culture Sans is also available in two different styles. Outline offers the same bold character set with only its outer form drawn out, while Shadow provides the outlined variant with a drop shadow effect. For extra adaptability and fun, designers can try layering Sans, Outline, and Shadow together to achieve unique combinations. Each variant includes a few stylistic alternates, as well.
The Voyage Culture Script is a connective cursive type design that offers both upper and lowercase letters. It is an ideal accompaniment to the strong Voyage Culture Sans variants, yet it can also serve well as the focal point or on its own. The Voyage Culture Script features signature-style lettering and stylistic alternates for each uppercase and lowercase letter, along with a few swash options.
The Voyage Culture font family is well suited to projects of all sorts, including signage, displays, posters, logos, branding, identity, product packaging, merchandise, promotional and marketing materials, and website designs.
The Voyage Culture Sans and Script both extend multilingual support to Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, Baltic, Turkish, Central European, Romanian, and Pan African Latin languages for global accessibility.
Vintage Voyage Design Supply currently offers 18 products through YouWorkForThem. Particularly if you love retro-inspired type designs, we highly recommend you go check out the rest of the studio’s work because there are some really amazing lettersets to be found. The work of Vintage Voyage Design Supply isn’t solely limited to display typefaces. Afterglow, for instance, is a modern yet classic serif typeface that’s rich in sophistication and elegance. The Telegraph is another serif typeface, one that was inspired by the headlines of 20th century British newspapers.
