Mii Lab is a small independent studio that focuses on graphic design and illustration with a focus on traditional linocut techniques. Linocut is a printmaking technique that uses a sheet of linoleum to create a raised and reversed print surface. Ink is rolled over the vinyl, which is then pressed onto paper or another surface to create the print.
The linocut process yields considerable texture and dimension, and its especially useful for adding a hand-drawn appearance to graphic design projects.
One of Mii Lab’s most recent additions to YouWorkForThem is Vegetable Garden, a collection of beautiful linocut illustrations that celebrate nature and homegrown edibles. Each vegetable was meticulously drawn, carved, and printed by hand, a process that adds a tangible sense of texture to each piece.
Digitized for optimal performance in graphic design applications, Vegetable Garden offers 50 illustrations that are fully editable. Comprised of 50 transparent .png files and 50 high resolution .jpg files, the color of each illustration can be changed to suit any design. The collection also includes 30 pre-colored vegetables in transparent .png format as a bonus, along with five pre-made vegetable compositions in .pdf and .jpg formats.
The Vegetable Garden collection includes a wide variety of organic foodstuffs, including favorites like corn, tomatoes, celery, carrots, cucumbers, avocados, artichokes, squash varieties, onions, leeks, and much more. Vegetable Garden also includes popular herb varieties like fennel, ginger, mint, parsley, sage, and rosemary.
Vegetable Garden is an ideal choice for graphic design projects of all kinds, including product packaging for organic foods and handmade herbal-based cosmetics or body care products, website designs relating to food or gardening, marketing materials, book covers and illustrations, infographics, mobile applications, fabric patterns and designs, stationery, menus, gift wrap, logos, blog headers, social media imagery, digital art collage, and scrapbooking.
