A script font based on a style used for many decades on hand-painted signage.
The versions of Dream Lover™ offer lots of alternate characters which you can use interchangeably with the main fonts. The main differences can be found in the following alphabetical characters:
The version fonts also set with a special charm of their own. We recommend that you try out each style every time you use Dream Lover™ for a new project, because different words can have some extra dazzle when set in one style over the other.
Dream Lover™ has some more useful alternate characters in place of those characters which did not seem to work well with this script style:
--AE (AE ligature) = an "l" with a swash (a lowercase "L" with a swash)
--\ (backslash) = end tail (a character for extending the joins)
--| (bar) = beginning tail (a swashy start for lc characters at the beginning of words)
--Π(OE ligature) = Th ligature
There are some instances in the Dream Lover™ fonts where certain letters are not actually joined together. This is because certain combinations of letters seemed too tight with the current joins. We created a special tail extension character so that in such cases, you can extend the tails to make those letters join. Simply type the backslash character "\" wherever you desire a longer tail. You can also use this character when you want to increase the space between any letters which appear to be too tight in a particular word.
During testing, we found these extended tails to be particularly useful when using the following character combinations:
