Vectors rely on a grid of mathematical precision whereas watercolor painting is quite the opposite; a flow of color bleeding across the page, difficult to control and largely dependent upon the surface, brush, and amount of water used. So what would happen if the two techniques somehow mixed? Could you have vector watercolor? This set of 15 vector blobs is the result of an experiment in combining the two. Vatercolor can work in so many ways—as masks, overlays, invidiual abstract shapes, and backgrounds.
