Fontfabric is an independent type foundry , which was launched at the close of 2008 by designer Svetoslav Simov who is based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Our goal is to create high-quality fonts which stand in a unique class of their own, and which will serve as a good base for any designer project whether it be web, print, t-shirt design, logo etc.

Soon after he was born, Gilles got away from his crazy family to become a sailor.
After discovering Chinese painting by chance on his voyages, he begins to paint seriously in the 1970s.
After many jobs he has lived by painting since 1987, with a studio first in Nantes, then Paris (from '86 to '90) and since then in Ceilhes et Rocozels (Occitanie), France.

Lewis McGuffie is a British graphic and type designer based in Tallinn, Estonia. He has a background in creating custom type for private clients and branding projects. His typefaces are often drawn from extensive research and he has a keen eye for the physical, historical and regional aspects of typography.
He has also given talks on drawing type and hosts regular workshops on hand-lettering, glass gilding and sign-writing.
