Margaret Penney is a graphic designer and new media artist who’s enjoyed an incredibly successful career over the past decade and a half working in the visual communications industry. She pursued degrees and graduated from both John Hopkins University and New York’s Columbia University, where she obtained her master of fine arts degree, and she’s worked extensively in branding, typography, print and package design, and digital collage.
As a new media artist, Margaret has had a number of works on display in exhibitions around the world, including New York City, the Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, and the Museo Tamayo in Mexico City.
With a background in branding, art direction, presentation design, and design research, Margaret has worked with a long list of international corporations that include Nike, MTV, Verizon, and TIAA-Cref, just to name a very select few.
When Margaret isn’t creating and working on her own projects, she spends time educating others who intend to work in the field. She writes for Envato, Notes on Design, and Creative Market, and she’s also graphic design instructor at Sessions College. On top of everything else, she’s a textile designer with a unique eye for color and pattern, much like what you’ll find in her online marketplace, Hello Mart.

The designs in this collection are simplistic yet mesmerizing, and each pattern is available with different line styles from sharply-drawn to rough and distressed, giving designers a number of options to play with.
Minimal Geo is designed to work beautifully in large and small scale projects. The entire collection of 128 files includes 16 patterns with varied line styles in vector .eps format and high-resolution transparent background .png files for fantastic versatility. The patterns themselves are sized 12″x12″ and up, 3600x3600px, and a PDF “Read Me” file is also included.
