Established by Jeremy Vessey in 2013, Hustle Supply Co. has gone on to enjoy a considerable amount of time in the spotlight, having work licensed by companies that include Google, Kohl’s, and John St.
Jeremy is a typographer who knows what graphic designers are looking for when it comes to font selection because he is a graphic designer himself. He actually considers himself to be his own best customer because he crafts products that he would use in his own projects. He’s got a wicked sense for fluid design and a stellar work ethic that keeps him working on new things all the time.
When Jeremy envisions a concept for a new design, he develops it in his head before bringing it to life on the computer. He also considers how sellable a product will be. Graphic design templates and type designs may take a great many hours to create depending on their complexity, but once they are released into the wild, they will sell indefinitely – particularly if the idea is a good one. While trends come and go, truly beautiful work will never go out of style.
The funny thing is, Jeremy didn’t even set out to become a graphic designer or typographer, at least… not at first. He had always enjoyed drawing, as many kids do, but he intended to go to film school or to explore audio engineering. So naturally, he enrolled in coursework to become a programmer. Over time, though, he found that working in the back end of website development wasn’t really his thing, so he left that path in favor of a graphic design program.
Working on graphic design projects and logo development is what eventually nudged him in the direction of type design. As a “purveyor of carefully crafted type” through Hustle Supply Co., we’re sure that he’ll enjoy nothing but good things in the future.
One of Hustle Supply Co.’s more recent releases through YouWorkForThem is Bolder SVG Brush Font, a handmade brush script with texture so realistic, you’ll want to run your fingers over the surface just to make sure it’s actually digital.
