Aleksandra Popova is an artist who loves “to create beautiful things.” Before setting foot in the graphic design industry, she attended New Bulgarian University where she received her bachelor’s degree in photography and her master’s degree in graphic design. Working as a self-employed freelancer for a while now, Aleksandra has become quite a renaissance woman of sorts, gaining thorough knowledge and experience in a variety of creative endeavors including digital art and illustration, graphic design, creative advertising design, photo retouching, website design, and photography.
Aleksandra is driven by the desire to create designs that are not only aesthetically beautiful, but that will go on to inspire others in their own projects. She strives to offer design assets that enable other designers to create things that are truly “unique and special,” while giving them plenty of flexibility and freedom to do so. Some of her past work has included geometric patterns and borders, abstract pattern designs, and image collections with a heavy floral theme.
One of her more recent releases through YouWorkForThem is Tropical Set, a large collection of tropical design elements carefully illustrated by hand on paper and later converted with a graphic tablet. Tropical Set explores the lush beauty of tropical foliage and flowers, digitally brought to life through their intricate details.
This collection makes it easy to incorporate the rich greenery of exotic tropical locales in any graphic design project. Tropical Set is perfect for everything from full-color page layouts to wallpaper backgrounds, stationery, greeting cards and invitations, product packaging, merchandise, posters, book illustrations, and branding and identity projects. The great thing about this collection is its flexibility; you can mix and match the elements in this series to your heart’s content to craft unique designs for an endless amount of project types.
For even greater adaptability, Tropical Set includes files that work in vector editing software and basic graphic design software. If you work in Adobe Illustrator, the vector elements in .eps format are fully editable in versions down to Illustrator 10. Tropical Set’s .ai files are compatible with Adobe Illustrator CC. If you work in Photoshop, Tropical Set offers its files in both .png and .jpg formats.
Tropical Set includes eight seamless patterns that are great for background elements, gift wrap and packaging designs, fabric designs, and any design project that needs a seamless and repetitive print. The seamless patterns include palm fronds, flowers, and thick greenery and offer transparent backgrounds in .ai, .eps. and .png formats. Tropical Set’s seamless patterns are sized at 4167×4167 at 300 dpi in their .png and .jpg formats for high-resolution printing and digital display.
Tropical Set also offers a single file with all of its tropical elements, comprised of 19 leaves and seven flowers represented in colorful and contour versions, along with several color variations for some of the objects, in .ai, .eps10, and .png formats.
For even greater versatility, Tropical Set also includes a number of borders, frames, wreaths, and pre-made arrangements! To create interesting borders, header drops or bottom arrangements, this collection provides four straight border variations that you can either repeat or mix and match to create your own border designs, all available in .ai, .eps, .png, and .jpg formats.
Tropical Set includes four arrangements, six frames, and three wreaths, each in .ai, .eps10, .png with transparent background, and .jpg formats. These are especially great for label designs, social media imagery, product packaging, menus, invitations, save-the-date cards, and event programs.
