Hello Mart was established as an online surface design shop and fine art gallery representing independent artists from around the world. Hello Mart, which transitioned its brand to New Visual Things in 2019, offers a wide array of patterns, textures, digital art packs, collage, art prints, photography, sculpture, decor accents, and accessories.

This creative marketplace is the brainchild of Margaret Penney, a gifted graphic designer with a mastery of branding, art direction, print and package design, and the use of color in design. Her eye for aesthetics is an intrinsic part of what makes her who she is as an artist and designer, a quality that was only further enhanced by a thorough education.

After graduating from Johns Hopkins University and receiving her MFA at Columbia, Margaret has traveled the world for both work and pleasure. Her career began in a stock photo agency in New York, but things really took off when she accepted a position to work in art direction in Hong Kong.

Over the years that have passed since, Margaret has worked with international companies that include Sony Music, Live Nation, Nike, MTV, and Verizon, among many others. She also shares her wealth of knowledge and experience through the courses she teaches at Sessions College For Professional Design and she regularly writes about design-related subjects.

Traveling the world has left its mark on her work, to say the least. Hello Mart/New Visual Things offers several digital art packs specifically related to topographic maps from around the world, including Peaks of North America, Peaks of Europe, and Mount Everest Topographic Maps – allowing you to visit the terrain of these natural landmarks without mountain-climbing gear!

One of her most recent releases through YouWorkForThem is Mendoza Topographic Maps, an exploration of Argentina’s pastoral wine country. The Mendoza region, located in the central-western part of the country, is synonymous with wine. The nearby Andes serve as a backdrop for sprawling vineyards, the likes of which are responsible for some of the most popular wines in the world, including Malbec – a red variety known for its fruit-based notes of black cherry, plum, and blackberry.

The high elevation not only benefits Malbec grapes; it lends itself to a collection of nine beautiful contour maps that celebrate the region. Mendoza Topographic Maps offers three variations of contour mapping: a smooth illustrative map, a numbered contour map, and a brush-painted map. Each variation is available in black and grey, white, and color. The colored maps are drawn from the notable hues of the region itself and include rich brown, desert gold, and soft pink.

The illustrations in Mendoza Topographic Maps are perfect for design projects of all kinds, including fabric prints, decor accents, wallpaper and wall wraps, product packaging, marketing materials, posters, displays, signage, book covers, stationery, greeting cards and invitations, gift wrap and gift bags, labels, tags, website designs, mobile applications, icons, social media imagery, art collage, photo layering and masking, and typographic designs.

The files in Mendoza Typographic Maps are high-resolution, poster-sized at 20”x24” inches and 300 dpi (6000x7200px), making them well suited to both digital and print projects. This collection includes vector .ai and .eps formats, .pdf, .jpg, and transparent background .png versions so you’re good to go no matter what design software you’re using. Mendoza Typographic Maps also includes a helpful .pdf Read Me if you need any help using this digital art pack.
