This new addition to YWFT brings you a stunning collection of original display typography that sure to delight! Ranging from practical sans serifs to luxurious formal and informal casual script styles, Stiggy & Sands is sure to become the go-to fonts for any retro and unique graphic design project!
We have highlighted below some of our favorite fonts they just posted this week.
Bruno Ace Pro draws its inspiration from modern automotive logotypes. This geometric sans-serif has a wide stance with a tall x-height for a strong look and appeal, as well as ease of legibility. The SmallCaps and extensive figure sets offer a more extensive range of use as well as a more intense vibe.
Carioca Script Pro was inspired the lettering from the RCA Records Stereo Action Series from the 1960’s. It’s a signature script that is both elegant yet slightly bouncy and truly sings…lending a happy-go-lucky flavor to any design. This script is loaded with extra features – truly giving Carioca Script Pro something to sing about.
Luckiest Softie Pro is a softened variation of our Luckiest Guy Pro typeface, inspired by hand-lettered vintage 1950’s advertisement. The charm of the original typeface is enhanced with softened corners to give the typeface a more cuddly charisma.
Luckiest Guy Pro was inspired by hand-lettering by vintage 1950’s advertisements. The uber-bold unicase letterforms exude charm and light-heartedness, while the SmallCaps and extensive figure sets expand the range of usability and appeal.
Galindo Pro was inspired by the heavy-weight animated fonts such as Ad Lib, Nightclub, and Bear Club, blending geometric cuts with light-hearted contours. The festive letterforms intrigue and draw in the reader, while the Small Caps and extensive figure sets open the font up to a wider range of uses.
Englebert Pro draws inspiration from the title screen of the 1930’s film entitled, “Der Blaue Engel”, starring Marlene Dietrich. Playful but subdued, yet striking enough to catch the eye, this casual sans has a distinct signature look to it. The offbeat letterforms engage the reader, while the SmallCaps and extensive figure sets lend a wider versatility to the typeface.
Maiden Orange Pro is a light and festive slab serif font inspired by custom hand lettered 1950’s advertisements. Clean and legible, while also being offbeat and friendly, this font lends itself to a wide variety of uses. The SmallCaps and extensive figure sets offer a slightly more serious tone as well as a wider range of design use.
Mouse Memoirs Pro was inspired by vintage Mickey Mouse, Beagle Boys, and Uncle Scrooge comic books put out by Walt Disney in the 50’s and 60’s. It nods to the Disney aesthetic with an all-around fun personality and truly animated look. The chipper letterforms engage the audience, while the SmallCaps and extensive figure sets expand the scope of use.
McLaren Pro was created to act as a generic go-to comic style lettering. Its simple and clean letterforms mixed with a mild bounce have an offbeat quality to it without going too far. It is cleanly legible for small bursts of copy to larger bodies of text, perfect for books for children, comics, and anything requiring a mildly playful yet clearly readable font.
