We greatly enjoy taking the opportunity to introduce some of the new foundries that join YouWorkForThem, and we’re really excited to tell you about one of our latest additions, Zetafonts!
Based in Florence, Italy, Zetafonts was created by Francesco Canovaro, Debora Manetti, and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini. For more than ten years, Zetafonts has collaborated with a long list of designers to develop beautiful, functional typefaces for a wide variety of applications. They openly encourage experimentation, seeking to provide designers with versatile fonts that can be perfectly adapted to each individual project.
The first font in their YouWorkForThem portfolio is Amazing Grotesk, a semi slab serif type design with a fresh, dynamic attitude. The personality of Amazing Grotesk is one that personifies innovation, with a contemporary shaping that lightly brushes against a calligraphic flair. This font’s architecture is ideal for an incredible range of projects, including website content, mobile applications, corporate communications, business cards, advertising spreads, logos, branding, and product packaging.
Available in four weights with corresponding italics, Amazing Grotesk offers Light, Regular, SemiBold, and Heavy options, with an additional Infographic letter set that provides designers with an unexpected shortcut for creating information graphics. OpenType letter substitutions grant access to pie chart sections, bar chart pieces, and a series of people icons that will make infographic layouts a breeze.
Amazing Grotesk also delivers extensive multilingual support for international design projects, including Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, Catalan, Baltic, Turkish, Central European, Romanian, Pan African Latin, Dutch, Afrikaans, Latin Ligatures, Basic Greek, and Basic Cyrillic.
