As a graphic designer, I've spent my career as an art and creative director for magazines, newspapers, and various corporate, government, and higher education clients. Sometimes, when I didn't have the perfect typeface for a headline, I would draw my own letters. Over time, I've expanded these headline letters into complete type families.
Designing and building a quality typeface with all the glyphs, font weights, italics, kerning pairs, and OpenType features takes a lot of time. This after-hours work typically requires about a year of my time for each type family. I am very committed to the quality and precision that go into every glyph in each font.
