Established in 2015, Dirtyline Studio is a digital type foundry based in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The foundry has a particular love of handwritten, brush-stroked typefaces, an undeniable reflection of their passion for typography. Every glyph of every letter set is imbued with emotion, a vital element of Dirtyline Studio’s artistry that translates into powerful graphic design.
One of their latest releases through YouWorkForThem is Kindness, an intense brush script with an exuberant demeanor. Kindness is bold and self-assured, with flowing letterforms that lend sweetness and approachability to its architecture.
This typeface is casual yet sophisticated with a timeless quality to its overall design, making it well suited to a variety of environments and themes. Kindness is brilliant on logos, merchandise, apparel, posters, social media images, displays, signage, and advertising.
Kindness offers a variant with solid, bold strokes, along with Kindness Brush, a dry-brushed version of similar letterforms. For a more aged and distressed appearance, Kindness Rough provides a parched, almost dried-marker texture that’s a beautiful addition to more retro-themed design projects.
For additional flexibility, Kindness also offers two sets of swash. Kindness Swash provides a straight-up smooth swash experience, while Kindness Brush Swash offers a selection of dry-brushed swash and ink splatters.
Kindness, Kindness Brush, and Kindness Rough all extend multilingual support to Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, and Pan African Latin languages for accessibility.
