Sam spent several years working as a graphic designer for the music industry, a sector that prizes individuality and artistic flair — characteristics that can be seen in each and every one of his type designs. Because much of his work features realistic brush strokes, Sam usually works with ink and brushes on paper, which are later scanned and digitized. His work is passionate and every type design carries a distinct personality. If you love working with handwritten fonts, his portfolio is packed with them!
One of Sam’s most recent releases is Ultra System Font Duo, although it’s actually comprised of eight fonts in total — six sans and two textured scripts. The type designs in Ultra System Font Duo were crafted to work together effortlessly, yet they will work well on their own.
Ultra System Script is a textured marker script with bouncy, flowing letters written in a rather unisex hand. While some script fonts are decidedly feminine, Ultra System Script is pretty gender-neutral. It’s particularly well suited to the fashion scene, working beautifully in logos, product packaging, apparel, merchandise, album artwork, and social media imagery.
Ultra System Script Alt is a second set of script lettering with entirely new upper and lowercase letters. If you’re designing something that needs a really natural, handwritten look with letter variances, you can alternate between the two sets to create truly unique letter combinations without repetition!
Ultra System Sans is a wide all-caps bold sans serif that makes a powerful statement on its own or in conjunction with Ultra System Script. Ultra System Sans is ideal for displays and signage, logos, product packaging, posters, marketing materials, headlines, website designs, advertisements, book covers, album artwork, website and social media banners, and any design project that needs a brawny sans serif.
Ultra System Sans also includes a thick outlined version (Line One) and a thin outlined version (Line Two) for greater versatility. All three include italicized letter sets.
Ultra System Font Duo extends multilingual support to Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, Baltic, Turkish, Central European, and Pan African Latin languages, covering English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Indonesian, Malay, Hungarian, Polish, Croatian, Turkish, Romanian, Czech, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovak, and Slovenian for global accessibility.
