Bron Alexander is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Hamilton, New Zealand. Completely self-taught, she fell in love with illustration when she worked in design at the Waikato Museum back in the 1990s.
Creativity breeds experimentation and Bron discovered that over time, her design work became more illustrative in nature. She transitioned toward illustration while working for a local magazine. There were certain design projects that she would have loved to run wild with, but she had to adhere to her employer’s limitations. Eventually, she began working on prints and eventually moved to freelance work entirely.
Bron is optimistic about her work and in her life in general. Her freelance career has led her to craft design solutions for large companies and smaller businesses alike, always finding a way to accurately reflect their personalities and brand through visual media.
Passionate about her field, Bron is a determined creator who has enjoyed great success in her career so far.
One of her most recent releases through YouWorkForThem is Modern Abstract Shapes and Patterns, a collection of softly-painted abstract shapes with a brushed texture that leaps off the screen or page. Paint daubs, speckles, and squiggly brushstrokes mingle together to create abstract forms in summery organic hues.
