Hustle Supply Company - Unique Fonts From Brand Designer Jeremy Vessey - 1

Hustle Supply Co. is a new type foundry we’ve recently added to our site here at YouWorkForThem. This company is the brainchild of brand designer and typography expert, Jeremy Vessey. He’s based in a small town called Charlottetown within Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he’s already formed a lucrative career in the typeface industry.

We’re proud to include his work here now as another unique addition to our font collection from artists around the world. Over the last few years, he’s sold many of his fonts to top companies and independent creatives who find much to like in his designs.

It’s not surprising his fonts are so popular since they have unique styling, are easy to read, and can work in just about everything. They cover industrial marketing to entertainment-related projects with true stylistic flair.

Let’s take a closer look at Jeremy Vessey, his most popular fonts, and what industries you might use them for to bring maximum impact.

Vessey’s Typography Goals

As you look through Jeremy’s collection on our site, you’ll see he focuses considerably on hand-lettering designs. Many companies appreciate this because it gives a more personalized feel to branding copy, advertising and media of all types. On a website, employing a hand-drawn look can give a whimsical and more down-to-earth feel that some companies prefer. Jeremy has more recently spent time and effort on making his typography more suitable for apparel marketing. Let’s take a look at some of his font highlights, and hopefully you’ll be inspired to your own use of his work.

Yonder

This newer font in the Hustle Supply Co. collection has become one of Jeremy’s most popular. That’s because it goes so well with other script fonts while still providing a hand-drawn appeal.

Described as a playful typeface, you can use this in just about any type of project. Yonder comes with 26 letters and 10 alternates, and as with all fonts here at YWFT, it’s available to use as a webfont as well.

Hustle Script

Another relatively new font from Jeremy’s collection, Hustle Script takes the hand-drawn style to new levels. It has more variation with light, regular, and bold weights.

Known as the flagship font for Hustle Supply, it’s excellent not only for projects, but also for business title designs. With many businesses choosing to use more retro titles and styles, having this in advertising can make your company look more approachable. At the same time, it still looks modern, which is a secret to the subtleties behind today’s most popular fonts.

Parlour

Here you have a font with a more specific style reference, though still considered viable for varied uses. Parlour’s inspiration comes from barber shops, tattoo shops, and menswear brands. As such, it’s an example of Jeremy’s recent work in creating fonts for apparel companies.

Nevertheless, using this (and Parlour Sans as a complement) can give you another retro style that still fits in with a modern aesthetic. These letters come with their own textures as well so you don’t have to add any digital touch-ups.

Höchstadt

When you need a more European style to your marketing fonts, this is one of the best out there. Modeled after Western European typography (and whiskey labels), it’s also a multilingual font that’s very useful for the global marketplace.

Various styles are available as well, with serif and sans-serif options. Despite having an industrial look, you can use this versatile font in numerous branding situations. Vessey himself uses it in his own apparel marketing.
